This is the second ‘Super Moon’ of this year after the ‘Super Blue Moon’ of August, the next 2 super moons this year will be seen on October 17 and November 15.

The partial lunar eclipse will begin on September 18 at 7:12 am Pakistan time, peak at 7:44 am and end at 8:15 am.
Why does a lunar eclipse occur?
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth comes between the Moon and the Sun, blocking the Moon from sunlight and making the Moon invisible.

Lunar eclipses are sometimes partial and sometimes total, whether the eclipse is partial or total depends on its rotation.

According to NASA, during a lunar eclipse, the Moon falls into the Earth’s shadow
